Join us in supporting Providence ElderPlace's only signature fundraiser on April 25th in Seward Park. The Treat Yourself 5k raises funds for Providence ElderPlace & Heritage House at the Market Assisted Living. It is vitally important to our work! 
 
Providence ElderPlace (a PACE program) provides health care, housing, social service support, medically related transportation, and MUCH more, to older adults who need it most. People who qualify for our program must be "dual eligible" which means that they have little to no financial resources and need nursing home level of care.  
 
The goal of our program is to keep our elders out of nursing homes and living safely in their community. As you can imagine, many of the people we serve are incredibly vulnerable. In the past two months we have helped two formally homeless seniors find housing, helped a home bound woman stay in her apartment of 40 years by setting her up with our PACE at home service, helped a daughter continue being her father's formal caregiver by providing her with comprehensive care coordination & support,and provided a woman with previously unsupported mental health issues with our mental health services and medication management. These people are not outliers, but rather quite typical of the 900 people we currently serve in King County right now.

We are so grateful that you want to create a fundraising team and help support Providence ElderPlace (PEP) and Providence Heritage House at the Market (PHHM).

PEP and PHHM, are two ministries in King County, who together serve almost 800 people a day in need of comprehensive health care, assisted living, skilled nursing and social services. Services provided by these two ministries include:

Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)

Adult Day Program

Assisted Living

Last year, Josh and I were incredibly touched by the generous support you gave to our "Little Event That Could". Thanks in large part to your donations, our fundraising team took 1ST PLACE, raising $5,800 for frail elders right here in our community. Overall, the event raised $70,000 - going directly to the Providence ministries of ElderPlace & Heritage House at the Market. 
 
As a thank you to all who donated to us in 2019 & to those who donate in 2020 - we invite you to a thank you party at the Bartholomew Winery tasting room on Saturday, April 18th for wine and snacks. More info to come but put this on your calendar!
