Michael Cadden

Space Needle

I was born in Seattle and spent most of my youth in Eastern Washington. I moved back home to Seattle 29 years ago and live with my wife, Sinéad, in the neighborhood I was born, Matthews Beach. We have two daughters and two granddaughters. I’ve been bartending for 20 years in the craft cocktail world. It’s a family affair as my wife’s been bartending for well over 30 since she moved here from Ireland.

Spoiling grandchildren is my main hobby, but I enjoy entering cocktail competitions as well. I have found great success on a local, national and global level. Over the years, I’ve been in well over 300 competitions, and have traveled all over the world learning about the history of spirits, and where they were made creating great friendships along the way.
