Pallavi & Ash Wahi
Pallavi and Ash Wahi have called Seattle home for over 25 years, living here with their 10-year-old son, Jai (who was born at Swedish Hospital), who recently started middle school. The Wahis are deeply invested in the Puget Sound community, contributing to initiatives that promote the community, culture, education and essential services. Their commitment reflects a deep love for the region and a passion for fostering growth and inclusivity.
Pallavi Wahi is the Managing Partner of K&L Gates' Seattle office and co-chair of the firm’s India practice. K&L Gates is a global law firm with 48 offices worldwide. During her tenure at the firm, she has held significant leadership roles, including serving on the management committee , chairing the diversity committee and as the co-managing partner of 25 offices in the United States. Recognized as one of the 100 most influential U.S. lawyers by The Business Journals, she has also been featured in the Puget Sound Business Journal's "Power 100." As a Chambers-ranked litigator, Pallavi represents global clients in complex commercial litigation. She is also a committed community leader. She currently serves on community boards such as the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco's Seattle Branch and the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce (past Board chair). She has also previously served on the boards of the Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Rep, South Asian Bar Foundation and King County Bar Foundation among others.
Ash has held leadership roles at major tech companies, driving the launch of transformative products. With a background in Computer Science and an MBA, he spent over 12 years at Microsoft in leadership positions, then played key roles in establishing Facebook’s regional presence and building Snapchat’s technical teams across the U.S. Ash is now focused on developing an AI company aimed at simplifying daily life for young families globally. He currently serves as a Sports Commissioner on the Seattle Sports Commission and has volunteered on and served on the boards of organizations focused on equality, equity, and civil rights.
