Providence Home and Community Care

Providence Home and Community Care is a part of Providence Health & Services, providing a comprehensive array of services for all ages. Our services integrate hospice, home care, adult day programs, assisted living, nursing homes, skilled nursing, infusion and pharmacy services, care for the elderly, and housing for the poor and vulnerable.

Our programs and services touch the lives of more than 7,000 people in Washington and over 50,000 people across five states every day. We offer hope for a continued full life for people living with chronic or life-limiting illnesses and provide support for those who are grieving. We are committed to providing access to care regardless of an individual's ability to pay, fulfilling our promise that "Providence will provide."

Providence O'Christmas Trees 

Providence O'Christmas Trees is excited to be celebrating its 40th Anniversary of festivities and fundraising for the ministries of Providence Home and Community Care (PHCC). The programs, services, and compassionate caregivers of PHCC embody the mission of The Sisters of Providence, who established the first hospitals, schools, and orphanages in the Northwest 168 years ago. Since 2000, O'Christmas Trees has raised approximately $17 million to help fund charity care and the invaluable services within PHCC ministries.

This year, for our 40th anniversary, our goal is to raise $1.8 million to support these crucial programs and services that help elderly, poor, and vulnerable people in Western Washington. The annual Providence O'Christmas Trees event is attended by Providence supporters, partners, and leaders from across our health system. It directly benefits the Providence mission and the patients and families we serve.

The three-day celebration includes our free Family Preview on Monday, December 2, the Silver Bells Luncheon on Tuesday, December 3, and culminates with the Gala Dinner & Auction on Wednesday, December 4.

Providence Home and Community Care Special Events 

Our department conducts fundraising events throughout the year for Providence Home and Community Care in Western Washington. In addition to Providence O'Christmas Trees, we host the Providence Golf Classic, Signature Cocktail Contest, and various service projects within our ministries. Proceeds from all of these events are a part of the total raised for Providence O'Christmas Trees.
